In 2021, it was reported that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan would unite for a standalone film, which was confirmed by Salman Khan in December 2021, with a working title of Tiger vs Pathaan. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand as announced on 6 April 2023. In August 2023, the film’s script was locked by Producer Aditya Chopra and was narrated to Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in two separate meetings. The film is scheduled to go on floors in 2026 and will theatrically release in 2027.
Excitement is building in Bollywood as megastars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan prepare to kick off the much-anticipated ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan’ in April this year. Initially slated for a March 2024 start, the film’s shooting was reportedly delayed as the makers personally took time to refine the script. According to a Zoom report, a source has confirmed that the stage is now set, and the two leading men have committed their dates for the film’s commencement in April. One of the intriguing aspects is awaiting the revelation of the leading ladies opposite Shah Rukh and Salman. In their previous collaborations, Deepika Padukone shared the screen with SRK in ‘Pathaan,’ while Katrina Kaif played the female lead in ‘Tiger 3,’ released in January and November 2023, respectively. Despite both films performing well at the box office, ‘Pathaan’ surpassed ‘Tiger 3’ in collections.
