A year back a new project was announced by Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan titled Mr Lele which was going to star the filmmaker’s favourite Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The film even released the first poster which had Varun posing in a risque manner. However in March last year, the film was shelved as Varun was not happy with the script and was sceptical about the project.
Today according to reports on an online portal, we hear that Mr Lele is going to go back on track and while Varun is out from the film, Vicky Kaushal will step in. The makers have decided to make this film with Vicky Kaushal in a lead role and will soon begin shooting for it. Now, Mr Lele initially had also locked its leading ladies in Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, now let’s see if the two actresses are still a part of the film. Vicky Kaushal also has his first YRF film and The Immortal Ashwatthama in his kitty.
