Stree 2 (transl. Woman 2) is an upcoming Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. A sequel to Stree (2018), it is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. It stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 15 August 2024.
The much-awaited teaser of Stree 2′ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor was released directly in theaters with ‘Munjya’. The film features the original cast, including Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and others.
Going by the teaser, the sequel has returned with her chilling shriek, targeting men once again. Rajkummar Rao, along with his friends and Shraddha, are set to captivate fans once more with their chemistry.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, it will hit the big screens on Independence Day, August 15.
The horror comedy will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ at the box office.
Earlier today, Shraddha Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to announce that the film, which also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead, will hit theaters on Independence Day this year, i.e., August 15, and will clash with Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’.
